Overview of Services
Cosmetic surgery is more popular than ever, from whitening and shaping to closing spaces and replacing teeth. Dentists have a wide range of techniques, training and education to help you improve your smile. Your smile says a lot about who you are and make sure you discuss your concerns and goals with Dr. Ken.
Veneers are plastic or porcelain shells that go over your teeth to improve the look of your smile.
Veneers improve teeth that:
Have spaces between them
Have become chipped or worn
Are permanently stained
Are poorly shaped
Are slightly crooked
Dr. Ken uses the Cerec technology (Computer-Aided design and manufacturing) to provide you with an instant veneer that no longer requires multiple visits.
A dental implant is a device specially designed to be placed surgically within or on the mandibular or maxillary bone to support a dental replacement. They are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.
Not everyone is a candidate for a dental implant, however. For a successful implant to take hold, a candidate must have proper bone density and have a strong immune system. In all cases, dental implants require strict oral hygiene.
